Welcome New Parents!

WHAT WE OFFER:The visits are one to one support with a International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and a Pediatrician (see staff bios below), fully covered by OHIP (no cost to the family provided both Mother and baby have OHIP).

  • PRENATAL VISITS: Having a new baby is an adventure and during prenatal visits with us we like to review what to expect in the busy, tiring initial days, best tips to remember and what to avoid, you get to come in and observe a new Mom & baby for positioning, effective latching, solid feeding management and how to tell when your baby is satisfied.
  • POSTPARTUM VISITS: one to one support with a International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and a Pediatrician helping you achieve comfort, effective breastfeeding with good quality of life. (see bios below). Please note: We strive to offer as much support as we can each visit but time can be limited but we will offer regular visits until the family is comfortable with the feeding. *Please keep in mind that, depending on the issues you may be struggling with, the visits can often feel overwhelming initially as you are on a learning journey for you and your baby(ies) but our goal, through increasing understanding and support, is to reduce this stress*.
  • .The building houses a LifeLab, Xray and Ultrasound clinic, and Compounding Pharmacy. Our clinic is a quick elevator ride up from free underground or surface parking. We are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Families can be often be seen quickly.

    A quick referral letter from your doctor or midwife can be brought to the appointment or faxed to our office at 647-343-6002. The letter is required but you can book the initial appointment while arranging the referral letter.

    Clinic Owner and Pediatrician: Dr. Muroog Al-Dabbagh, IBCLC, is a team member at North York General and runs her own Pediatric Clinic. She has been previously involved in the breastfeeding clinics at NYGH, Humber River Hospital and Newman Breastfeeding Clinic. She is committed to education and research in the field as well as continuing to offer OHIP covered breastfeeding support to our community..
